RE: Indian Valley Public Library
The Library Loophole Weaponized to Sexually Exploit Children
“Exemption J” –
is this LEGAL?
Unfortunately, yes.
Obscenity laws (PA Title 18, Sec 5903) were created to protect young people from the temptations that lead to medical, moral, and spiritual harm that can and does last a lifetime.
These laws have stood for centuries to allow young people the time to develop the moral strength & convictions to avoid self harm and harming others.
Exemptions to these common sense prohibitions were created to allow governments, museums, schools, and libraries to keep historical records that allow us to learn from the past without creating legal jeopardy for institutions.
In Pennsylvania, this exemption “J” in Title 18, Section 5903, is being exploited to groom children. Libraries and schools have become evangelism tools to reach minors with perverse “how to” guides, obscenity, and tutorials for apps to connect children to adults to explore sexual desire.
Try sharing these books in one of our public parks and see how fast you are jailed. YET, all of this is exempt if done under the auspices of a library or school.
Normal People
Don’t show porn to other people’s kids
Our library, in a morally bankrupt ideology, believes that keeping porn and predators from minors is a free speech violation – a slippery slope to totalitarianism.
There doesn’t seem to be much Americans can agree on any more, but protecting children must be the line. Here and no farther.
Misdirection
Turning grooming, obscenity, and trafficking into LGBTQIA+ rights…
Misinformation
Local News Stories & Politicians Omit the Damning Details… we wonder why.
Points to
consider
Your Tax Dollars!
Your tax dollars are subsidizing obscenity, medically damaging “how to” sex guides, and grooming – including facilitating Apps for child sex trafficking.
A Pledge?
More than just accidentally paying for porn, the Telford Council pledged your tax dollars to subsidize this evil- after recieving the Library Loophole Report and all the awful images & guides.
Power of the Purse
The main power of the legislature is in the spending or withholding of your tax dollars.
If the library wants your money, they must stop attacking your children. Period.
‘YOUR Tax Dollars!
- The library is promoting cartoon porn to our kids. Normal people don’t do this. Why are you using my tax dollars to subsidize this?
- The library holds a book tutorial for apps teaching minors how to connect with older adults. THIS is helping in child sex trafficking! Why are you funding this with my tax dollars??
- You are subsidizing these books. Its no different than doing it yourself. WORST! You are making me do it too with my taxes.
- Why did you ban a presentation of the Library Loophole report on the grooming & obscenity? Why is the Council member’s report still not available?

A Pledge
Council did not and will not support any efforts to cancel our contributions to the IVPL. Council continues to support the IVPL, recognizing the valuable services it delivers to our community.
Council has not and will not support Council Member, Robert Jacobus’ endeavor to cancel or delay distribution of the funds budgeted this year to the IVPL.

- A report was filed exposing porn comics and sex trafficking apps and you publish a letter pledging support of the library? What good could the Library possibly be doing to balance out that level of evil?
- If this was a boy scout troop or church, these people would be in jail. Why can’t they just act like the laws apply to them? – these are kids!
- This Council is concealing evil presented to them. If you don’t expose it, it’s just as if you are doing it yourself.
- Is the good the library does excuse transmitting materials facilitating child sex trafficking, blow jobs in comics?
- What would make you break this “porn pledge”? Drag Queen Story Hour?

Power of the Purse
- IF the library can’t defend and protect our children, cut their funding until they clean up their act.
- Normal people don’t put up with this. What are you people waiting for?
- IF the library won’t clean up its act to keep $45K, there is something deeply wrong with these people.
- Library leaders have failed. What makes them immune? Why do you keep funding them?

It may seem an obvious fix, but the Council needs to hear from Telford residents. They made the wrong decision. Tools below↓.

Demand Accountability
Legislators (council members) are always weighing interests. In this case, it is the value of the library services versus the harm of the content provided children.
